We’ll have a brilliant mix of community gardens and nature organisations on hand to share their knowledge, alongside a carefully curated selection of nature-themed traders, where you can pick up everything from:

🧺 BASKET-MAKING WORKSHOPS 🧺

Join us for a fun, crafty session making your own willow basket in a relaxed, hands-on two-hour workshop! Morning and afternoon sessions available.

Get ready to dive into the art of willow work, weaving with our hands-on, in-person workshop at our Nature Nook within Durham Market Hall. Hosted by the talented and knowledgeable Ruth from Sylvan Skills, this workshop is perfect for beginners and craft lovers alike. This session will guide you through making your very own willow basket. Relax, create, and connect with nature while you learn cool basket-making skills. Each workshop costs just £29, lasts two hours and is suitable for ages 16 and over. The workshop takes place within Durham Market Hall, and there will be signage and staff directing you where to go.
