Two-hour willow-basket-making workshop with Ruth from Sylvan Skills within Durham Market Hall on Friday, 24th July 2026, from 1pm until 3pm.
Please note:
There are two sessions available on the day - a morning and an afternoon workshop. Please ensure you choose the correct session, as we may not be able to swap due to limited numbers.
You must bring a copy of your order confirmation email to the workshop to gain entry.
Please arrive 10 minutes before session begins for a prompt start!

Pick up a new skill and try your hand at willow basket-making with the talented Ruth from Sylvan Skills!
Aimed at beginners, so no prior knowledge is required, this two-hour workshop will see you crafting your very own willow basket from scratch.
This workshop is part of our Nature Nook event and will be hosted within Durham Market Hall. All tools and materials are included in the cost - all you need to bring is yourself!
After the two hours, you will walk away with your very own handcrafted willow basket, just like the ones in the photos!

Afternoon: 1pm - 3pm
