Saturday Outdoor Market

Every Saturday, the Market Place is transformed by up to 30 small independent traders. It becomes a traditional, bustling, fresh air market and a great shopping experience.

Open from 9am to 4.30pm, visitors can shop for food and drink, clothing and fashion accessories, homewares, home décor and more. It’s great for gifts and ideal for weekend essentials. We also have a selection of take-away food vendors and a hot take-away drinks stall so pop by for lunch or a snack. All of our traders are small independent businesses. What’s great about shopping with these businesses is that anything you spend is then ploughed into our local economy, and that’s good for all of us. And, because the person at the stall operates their own businesses, they know all about what they’re selling. So come and chat, ask questions, and find out more about what you’re purchasing. For instance, where your food comes from, or where a beer is brewed.
