Welcome to Durham Markets
Established 1851
This Saturday’s Outdoor Market (16 November)
Our Markets will be open from 9am – we look forward to serving you – and both our markets, outdoor and indoor, will be open on Sunday this weekend… take your pick, shop whichever day suits you best.
Come out and shop with the city’s independents in Durham Market Place and the Market Hall. That’s loads of small businesses, all local, all independent and all passionate – you can shop and enjoy the city of Durham too.
Our markets are open on Saturday from 9am to 4.30pm and this weekend they’ll be open on Sunday too, from 10am to 4pm. In both markets you’ll discover knowledgeable traders, so come for a speedy shop or enjoy a chat and a browse! Stop and ask questions and seek advice. Enjoy your shopping trip!
