We’ve a warm welcome for all this weekend – whether you’re local, a Durham University fresher, students, families bringing students to the city or visitors.

This weekend, why not come out and shop with the city’s independents in Durham Market Place.  Of course, the Market Hall will be open too so in total that’s loads of small businesses, all local, all independent and all passionate – you can shop and enjoy the city of Durham too.

Our markets are open from 9am to 4.30pm.  In both markets you’ll discover knowledgeable traders, so come for a speedy shop or enjoy a chat and a browse!  Stop and ask questions and seek advice.  Enjoy your shopping trip!
