Enjoy Our Market Stalls at Durham Children’s Book Festival

Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st August

Our Markets will be open from 10am to 4pm … come and shop with our small businesses, as part of your day out in Durham

Durham Children’s Book Festival is two days of fabulous FREE entertainment in the heart of Durham … all centred around the world of books, with loads of North East authors coming along to do fun-filled workshops with the kids, meet the children, sign books, and pose for photographs. There will be costumed characters, mini beasts, face painting, and stalls to keep your young ones enthralled and entertained.

Thank you in advance for coming along … when you’re in Durham please ensure you visit the stalls outdoors in the Market Place and in the Market Hall – all are small local businesses, they rely on the support of local shoppers, and by supporting them you’re making a big difference to our local economy!
